Introduction<\/h2>\r\n<p>CargoM (the Metropolitan Logistics and Transportation Cluster of Montreal) is committed to protecting the confidentiality of the personal information it collects in the course of its activities. This policy describes how we collect, use, retain, and protect your personal information, in accordance with Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s Law 25 and applicable Canadian laws, including Canada&#8217;s Anti\u2011Spam Legislation (CASL).<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>2. Personal Information Collected<\/h2>\r\n<p>We may collect the following information:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>First and last name<\/li>\r\n    <li>Professional email address<\/li>\r\n    <li>Organization and job title<\/li>\r\n    <li>Telephone number (if provided)<\/li>\r\n    <li>Communication preferences<\/li>\r\n    <li>Participation in our events, working groups, committees, and surveys<\/li>\r\n    <li>Interaction history with our communications (e.g., opens, clicks)<\/li>\r\n    <li>Information voluntarily provided via our HubSpot or Mailchimp forms<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>We collect only the information necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We do not use any automated decision\u2011making process that produces legal or otherwise significant effects.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>3. Platforms Used for Data Management<\/h2>\r\n<p>CargoM uses two external platforms to manage its communications:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>HubSpot<\/strong>, used for:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>Sending the monthly newsletter<\/li>\r\n    <li>Contact management<\/li>\r\n    <li>Registration forms<\/li>\r\n    <li>Communication automation<\/li>\r\n    <li>Performance analysis<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Data may be hosted on servers located in the United States or in other jurisdictions. HubSpot applies robust security measures (encryption, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications).<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Mailchimp<\/strong>, used exclusively for:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>Sending the daily media monitoring bulletin<\/li>\r\n    <li>Managing media monitoring subscribers<\/li>\r\n    <li>Analyzing campaign performance<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Data is also hosted in the United States. Mailchimp complies with international security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001).<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>CargoM selects these service providers for their reliability, security, and compliance with industry best practices.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>4. Purposes of Collection<\/h2>\r\n<p>Your personal information is used to:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>Send you our monthly newsletter (via HubSpot)<\/li>\r\n    <li>Send you our daily media monitoring bulletin (via Mailchimp)<\/li>\r\n    <li>Invite you to events, working groups, and committees<\/li>\r\n    <li>Manage your membership or participation in our activities<\/li>\r\n    <li>Respond to your information requests<\/li>\r\n    <li>Improve our communications and services<\/li>\r\n    <li>Produce internal statistics<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>We never use your information for purposes other than those stated without your consent.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>5.
